I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.

Former twice world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
